Danger Super max gloves – Review
Danger Equipment Super Max Thai boxing gloves are authentic made in thailand Muay Thai boxing gloves with a classic Top King-esque design, they may be a new name to some however they have been making high quality Thai Boxing gear for over ten years now and are in the quality bracket to compete with Twins, Fairtex, Top King and Windy.
Construction- These are Authentic made in Thailand leather gloves with a vented palm.
Feel & Fit- The Super Max glove feels and fits very similar to the Twins special or Top King counterparts. I was not a fan of the vented palm at first but after using a pair of Twins gloves of a similar design in the gym i changed my mind i actually dont mind it.The only thing i would comment on is the fit is small on the danger gloves i would say im an average size at 5,9 & 75kgs i am not a huge guy but i find the Super Max gloves a little too tight on my hand and with wraps on it could be quite un unpleasant but i think this is just a preference for a western boxing glove over a thai style because i have the same problem with the Twins special.
Price and Value for Money – Sitting at £79.99 these are excellent value for money the Twins special gloves are £90 and above depending on the colour but in my opinion there is not a huge difference between the two & the Fairtex BGV1 is a different design but at £85 the DE gloves are still the cheapest of the three but what you are saving in money you are not losing in quality.
Would Suit – Anyone doing Muay Thai,K1 or even MMA depending on your prefernce but the Thai design is great for allowing you to clinch were as a Mexican style glove with the longer wrist cuff doesnt allow you to bend your wrists as much and doesnt make for a good clinch glove. These are ideal in my opinion for a smaller guy under 70kgs just based on hand size i think a guy with big hands will struggle to get these on with wraps
Conclusion- In Conclusion these are excellent gloves for Muay Thai great quality and with the added price point being cheaper than Twins & Fairtex make the Danger Super Max gloves some of the best on the market in my opinion.
