North East Top Amatures
The North East amature mma scenes is constantly growing with the likes of Eiko , Made 4 The Cage and Combat Challenge presenting us with lots of prospects to watch out for. Some of the best tallent in england are coming out of northeast gyms like Sixth Sense MMA , Badboy Training Centre and The Faktory Gym . These are Three Amatures that i think you should look out for.
- Lee Campbell (8-4-0 ) is one of the best amatures around , Lee has been smashing through tough opponents like Jed Ramshaw and has been winning very convincing,alot of the time with an inpressive finish. Lee will be fighting for the Made 4 The Cage welter weight title against Davie McLaughlin (7-1-0) , Davie beat Lee in a very close and entertaining fight , in the Eiko 4 man tournament and we can be sure to see another battle at Made 4 The Cage 21.
2. Callum Laskey (3-0-0) has been hammering the fights in this year , turning 3-0 and also winning the Total Combat UAR Lightweight Title. Callums awkward striking combines with his strong wresling game to make him an all around strong mma fighter , Callum has finished his last two fights in style by Rear naked Choke and also by tko , Callums next fight is on the 18th of june on ICE FC against Rob Wolfe and then Callum will be defending his belt in August on Total Combat. Keep an eye out for him.
3. Justin Burlinson (10-1-0) has a outstanding record and is very exciting to watch ,Justin has a very high level of kickboxing , and can out class alot of his opponents standing but also is not scared to take it to the floor with his jiu jitsu blue belt. Justin has just won the Eiko welter weight title and i am excited to watch him in the future.
