Revgear MMA Sparring gloves- Review
Today i am reviewing the curved Revgear MMA sparring gloves i have used these personally for the last 18 months previously i had a different brand but the same style but have been very impressed with the Revgear ones which are available at Fightstore Newcastle in all size’s and various colours.
Construction- Revgear 6oz MMA Sparring Gloves are constructed of the finest 100% full cowhide leather and use multi layered padding for excellent protection for both striker and partners.
Feel & Fit- I really like the fit of these gloves the padding doesnt go too far over the fist like on the Hayabusa version there is like a lip off padding over the fist that just doesnt need to be there also i found the Fairtex model a little bit too stiff and tight around the fist.It seems like a Goldilocks and the Three Bears situation the Hayabusa gloves being too big the Fairtex being too small & the Revgear seems to be just the right fit.
Price and Value for Money –Price wise at £49.99 these are great value for money with the Fairtex being £55 and the Hayabusa being £60 you can get RDX ones for a considerable ammount less but in all honesty the quality of the RDX ones they wont last anymore than a few months.I think the Revgear MMA Sparring gloves are in my opinion the best MMA sparring gloves on the market with the quality and the price point of being cheaper than Fairtex & Hayabusa.
Would Suit – Anybody doing MMA training these gloves are used univeraslly for MMA training across the UK,Europe and the World with UFC Fighters like Andre Fili,Josh Emmett & Arnold Allen all using these for there MMA sparring. Also if you are a UAR MMA Fighter you can compete in these gloves they have been used on some of the biggest shows in the UK here in the North east many fighters on M4TC have used them.
Conclusion- In conclusion Revgear have really done this glove right and is personally one of my favourite bits of kit they have came out with the fact they are cheaper than Hayabusa & Fairtex and in my opinion the better gloves aswel if you are training in MMA these are a must have in your kitbag.
